Candidate filing for North Charleston City Council Districts 3 and 5 will take place at the Charleston County Elections Office at 4340 Corporate Road, N Charleston, SC 29405 during standard office hours (Mon -Fri, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm). Filing will open on Friday, March 14, at 12:00 pm and close on Monday, March 24, at 12:00 pm. The $150 filing fee must be paid via check or money order made out to the City of North Charleston. Candidates must have resided in the City of North Charleston for at least six (6) months prior to the date of the election. For more information, contact our office at (843) 744-8683.
